Apple dumpling

Fluor free, dumplings, apple with vanilla dressing, click for details. I think it’s worth to try.

Ingredients for dumplings:

  • 650 g apple
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 200 g semolina
  • 1 tbsp vanilla puding powder
  • 120 g breadcrumbs
  • a pinch of salt

for vanilla dressing

  • 2 tbsp vanilla powder
  • 3 dl milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 dl cream 20%

In large pan boil 4-5 l of water with 2 tsp salt.Peel off the apples and grate on the large hole side of cheese rasp. Then mix all the ingredients for dumpling as mentioned above.You should have a formable consistency, otherwise add some breadcrumbs. Form table tennis sized balls. Place and cook the balls in boiling water, when the dumplings rise to the top of the water cook further 5 min and remove with skimmer into a bowl.

Apple dumpling

Stir the pudding nodeless with some milk, add the sugar and vanilla extract, put the rest of milk and cream to cook, when it comes to steam, mix with the milky pudding and cook to thick on low temperature meanwhile stir continuously.
For garnish melt 6 ounces butter, rotate into the dumplings and serve with vanilla sauce.
