Scone with cheese and sour cream

You can make a scone at home so you can obeisance to this great but not diet food even if it is not summer season. My mother’s recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 level tea spoon of salt
  • 15 g yeast
  • 200 ml kefir
  • 1 egg
  • sour cream
  • cheese

Shuffle all the ingredients mentioned above, for the yeast just grind it into, you have to get a quite sticky dollop, cover the bowl and let it stand a night in the fridge. Make the right size of scones you like, try to make it as thin as to be able to see through them and fry in hot oil. Smear the top with sour cream, sprinkle with cheese and eat while it is hot. If you like, make an oil with garlic and feel free to smear the top with it too (for a day or until you have the dollop in the fridge, put 2-3pcs smashed cloves of garlic into 1dl oil). If you don’t eat all scones at the same time, no worries just put them back to the fridge, for a couple of days there will be still fine. Watch out, it is a filling recipe!
