Raggmunk
Röszti on another way, aka the Swedish potato pancake.
Ingredients:
- 25 g flour
- 75 ml milk
- 1 pc egg
- one branch of thyme leaves
- 175 g potato, rasped
- 1 pc bigger carrot, rasped
- 1 tbsp oil
- a pinch of salt
Mix the flour and milk without lumps. Add the egg, chopped thyme and salt. Mix the carrot and potato into the dough. Heat some oil in a pan then fry the mixture in spoon portions. Serve while hot.
The Raggmunk in Sweden is eaten with thick fried bacon slices and cranberry jam. It sounds great. But now I ate as a simple side-dish.
