Homemade bread
You can mix the flour in different ratio, depends on what kind of flour you can buy. The BL80 type is specifically recommended for bread baking, therefore it is not sure you can buy in every grocery. In lack of BL80 flour you can mix by the conventional/normal flour and spelt flour.
1.ratio
- 200 g BL55 fluor
- 400 g BL80 fluor
- 100 g spelt flour
2.ratio
- 450 g BL55 fluor
- 250 g spelt fluor
further ingredients:
- 20 g salt
- 400 ml water
- a pinch of sugar
- 30 g yeast
- 100 ml milk
Put the yeast into lukewarm milk (not to boil) with a pinch of sugar till it comes up. Meanwhile measure the adequate ratio of flours, salt, then mix them. It is advised to use a kitchen mixer to mix well the ingredients, if it is not available use your hands. Mix well the flours, yeast and water. When it is well togetherc and the dough is not sticky, cover by a kitchen cloth and let the dough to rise for 1,5 hours.
When it comes to double size, knead again once more, place into the baking form that you lubricate with fat. Put into the preheated oven, 240°C, after 15 minutes moderate the temperature to 190 °C then bake the bread over an hour. Let the bread cool.
